Have you have been affected by another's abuse or addiction problem or by family of origin adversity?

If you have been affected by another person's alcohol abuse or addiction problem then our counselling service is here for you. Our counsellors are trained, compassionate and knowledgable in this area and will help you overcome your difficulties in a non-judgmental way.

Is your relationship with alcohol causing problems for you and your loved ones? Do you want to stop, but don't know how? Do you want an effective, lower cost alternative to an inpatient addiction treatment centre? If so, call us now on 2809795 in strictest confidence to make an appointment.

If you are abusing or are addicted to alcohol and want to stop we use the 'Living in Balance' Programme. The goal of this programme is to assist people in developing skills and awareness that allow them to lead healthy and productive lives without the use of alcohol.

This programme takes a non-judgmental approach to addiction and lifestyle issues and helps you develop sources of support and fulfillment other than alcohol that extend beyond the limits of the treatment program and professional counselling.

This programme provides you with information about alcohol abuse, treatment and recovery and allows you learn skills that help you deal with feelings, emotions and stressors in your life and to recognise and change distorted thinking patterns.

The Living in Balance Programme assumes that living a balanced life is a fundamental objective of all people regardless of ethnicity or culture.

* In very rare circumstances, for example, if your counsellor is on extended sick leave, you will be offered an alternative counsellor.
