If you yourself have benefited directly or indirectly from the services of the centre or just believe as we do that change and recovery are not only possible but a right for all as well as being of pivotal importance to a healthy society then become a Friend of the Hanly Centre. You will benefit in the knowledge that you are supporting the Centre in the best way possible as well as making a real difference to our work in the areas of alcohol addiction, family of origin adversity and related issues.
The Friends of the Hanly is a new fundraising departure for us. It is a way of allowing persons or organizations to give support on an ongoing monthly or annual basis by direct debit or standing order. Giving in this way allows us to plan our research, expand and develop programmes and services into the future, sustain a steady growth and ensure that we are able to fulfil our key objectives, safe in the knowledge that funding is secure.
We, at The Hanly Centre, would very much appreciate your financial commitment to our work. To Become a Friend please download, print out, complete and return the Become a Friend Form.
The Hanly Centre CHY6430 is a registered charity and is therefore eligible to claim a tax repayment from the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland on all donations that are greater than the sum of €250 a year. A gift of €21 or more each month could be worth an extra 42% which means that €250 becomes €355 in any one year to The Hanly Centre.
If you are a PAYE taxpayer, you don't have to make this donation in one go. Donations are cumulative, so a direct debit or standing order of €21 a month will bring you over the threshold.
Please complete the Tax Relief Form for donations to Eligible Charities & Approved Bodies if you wish to allow The Hanly Centre to claim back tax associated with your donation and return it to The Hanly Centre, The Mews. Eblana Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.
Self assessed tax payers and companies can also reclaim tax on donations which is retained by the person or company. Making the decision to donate the reclaimed tax to The Hanly Centre, makes your donation go even further.
The individual simply claims the donation made as an allowable deduction from the Revenue Commissioners. A receipt will be issued by The Hanly Centre supporting this claim.
The company claims the donation as a trading expense. A receipt will be issued by The Hanly Centre supporting this claim.
