Our goals are focused on helping children express and share their feelings in a supportive, encouraging atmosphere, helping to build self-esteem, self-confidence and problem solving techniques.
The children will engage in projects which will allow them the opportunity to discuss how they see themselves in the world, to explore their feelings, such as fear, and frustration and to learn to enjoy their triumphs.
We will lead the children in stress management techniques and show them how to develop solutions in dealing with their own set of circumstances.
Throughout the year we will be holding workshops on different themes all relating to the work we do at the Hanly Centre. Please check this page regularly or email us and let us know that you would like to be informed of any future happenings.
The Hanly Centre is a registered Irish charity CHY6340 committed to breaking the cycle of alcohol-related harm and the long-term effects of family-of-origin adversity.
